Note: National Gallery Singapore
Please note that one of this year’s screening venues is the newly-opened National Gallery Singapore at St. Andrew’s Road (the former Supreme Court building). Screenings at the National Gallery (GA) will be held in the gallery’s brand new screening auditorium.
Please do not confuse it with the “Gallery Theatre” space at National Museum of Singapore on Stamford Road. All screening venues at the National Museum will be labelled National Museum of Singapore, regardless of whether it is in the museum’s Gallery Theatre or The Salon.
Entry into the National Gallery Singapore for festivalgoers
1. All SGIFF patrons will be able to access the Gallery on the day of their screening, upon presentation of their SGIFF ticket.
2. Please join the designated SGIFF queue at the Gallery’s Coleman St. entrance and present your SGIFF ticket for an entry sticker. Tickets can be collected or purchased (cash only) at the same entrance. All SGIFF patrons who turn up at the Padang Atrium entrance will be advised to proceed to the Coleman St. entrance, which is nearest to the Auditorium.
3. Doors open 15 minutes before each screening. Ticket-holders are strongly advised to arrive at least 30 mins before their screening to make their way to the Auditorium (Level B1) in good time.
4. From 30 Nov onwards, SGIFF patrons who intend to use the carpark should take the lift at Lobby A (City Hall Wing), to Level 1 to join the SGIFF queue for entry.
Road Closures
Due to the SG50 Jubilee Big Walk on 23-29 Nov, some access to the National Museum of Singapore, The Arts House and National Gallery Singapore will be affected. Please take alternative routes and plan your travel time accordingly. For more details, click here.
